Covid 19 Response; Safety Plan
Updated December 15, 2020
Out of an abundance of caution, Lighthouse Window Cleaning had suspended operations since March 16, 2020. Ten team members had been laid off in order to eliminate the spread of Covid 19. After six weeks of suspended operation, Lighthouse Window Cleaning is taking careful steps to resume operations beginning May1st, 2020. We have reached out to assemblyman Kiley’s office for clarification on the directive.
The response was, “Cal OES confirmed that they are not adding other industries to the list at this time as they think the list is clear enough for business owners to make a determination.”
Placer County Directive as of 4/20/2020:
“Plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the habitability, sanitation, and operation of residences and Essential Businesses. Arborists, landscapers, gardeners, and similar service professionals, provided physical distancing practices are maintained throughout service and payment, any shared equipment is cleaned between users, and crew members who are not members of the same household do not travel in the same vehicle.”
Lighthouse Window Cleaning has the primary goal of providing team members a safe work environment. In addition, we are committed to providing a safe experience for our clients. We feel it is in the best interest of our team members and clients to resume work in a safe and calculated manner while adhering to the guidelines of the current directive.
We are in a fluid state and will amend our practices to best reflect a safe environment of our team and clients as we proceed.
A strict Covid 19 Policy and social distancing policy will be in place to ensure safety to our staff and our clients. Posting of social distancing protocol will be located in each company vehicle as well as emailed to each team member.
All office functions will be done remotely. Office work will be done at a home office of employees. No customer access will be involved. All interaction, scheduling and follow up will be conducted by phone and internet.
Management meetings involving a maximum of three people will be held outdoors providing 6 foot of social distancing is maintained and no shared office supplies.
Covid 19 protocol will be provided by phone and email to all clients prior to service.
